Different strains of cannabis have different effects.  Sativas are known for producing uplifting, creative and euphoric mind experiences and cause a “cerebral” high.  Indicas, on the other hand, create a very relaxing body high and are thus helpful for relaxation, anxiety, pain and sleep .   Hybrids combine the effects of both.
